The Baghluny Sultanate, often referred to as the Baghluny Empire or the Baklunish Empire by Oeridians, is an ancient empire that was located in eastern Flanaess, although very little of the empire has remained after its destruction in the Suloise-Baghluny War. The exact location of its capital remain a mystery to this day.
Citizens of the Baghluny Sultanate are known as Baghluny, or Baklunish by Oeridians.
The empire was founded by followers of Al'Akbar, who were lead to the Flanaess from Western Oerik by 6 prophets that were appointed by the Al'Akbar's 6 arch angels. The empire's connection to their deity remained very close until their destruction via the Sultan, who would be appointed the leader by the 6 prophets who function as consults to the sultan.
The empire had remained largely on good terms with surrounding Flan and Oeridian tribes, until the empire decided to extend its influence and begin to conquest its surrounding nations. At their largest point, they laid claim to the lands
The last sultan, Al'Farzikh, ordered the Rain of Colorless Fire to be cast upon their opponents the Su Imperium after they had launched The Invoked Devastation upon them.
