The Creation Myth refers to the myth of the creation of the universe, which is a myth that is shared accross all religions in the Flanaess, albeit in subtly different forms.
In the beginning, all of the universe's energy and matter existed in a state of pure entropy, or chaos, known as the Thariz. This age of chaos lasted for an incalculably long time, since it precedes even the concept of time itself. The innate randomness of the Thariz spawned many anomalies, most of which would not last long before decaying and turning into chaos once more. By pure chance, the chaos would one day create a cast conscious beings, known as the First Gods. These beings would develop a sense of self awareness, and become aware of the Thariz, and they chose to shape the Thariz into a state of order. They gave birth to elements, and elements gave birth to stars and planets, among which was Oerth. And then Oerth gave birth to life. With the chaos turned to order, the First Gods would depart, and give way to new gods to take their place over time.
However, all this order in the world was still the product of the original Thariz, and Thariz has the tendency to dissolve back to chaos, which would mean the end of life and the world as we know it. Furthermore, all things belonging to the world of order participate - whether consciously or not - to the continuous degradation of order and the eventual return of chaos.
Al'Akbar, the god of the Baghluny, seeks to combat this degeneration, and urges its followers to take conscious efforts to maintain and respect the order, as it is not something one can take for granted.
